My last big Power Up in 2024
Normally, I make power ups on the first of each month. This year, I managed to make about 12 power up's of 1000 Hive each. Today, I made the 12th and last power up of this year in order to get closer to my goals.
My Hive goals
At the beginning of the year, I set my goal in Hive Power for 2023. By the end of the year, I wanted to own 60'000 Hive Power. So far 97% of the year have passed and I have reached 95% of my goal. Until the end of the year, I will probably grow organically a bit but I don't think I will reach 100%. This doesn't really matter that much to me. I've managed to collect more than 59'000 Hive Power and this is very close to my goal. I will probably reach 60'000 sometimes in January.
I discarded my HBD goals some months ago to concentrate on my HP goals.

Even if the month isn't totally finished, I can say already that with only 5 posts produced in Dezember, I'm below my own objectives.
What to expect of 2024
For 2023, I was very ambitious with my goals and I almost got where I wanted to get but this came with a price. I used a lot of resources from other places to get there and my crypto portfolio is now very heavy with Hive. In 2024, I will therefore set different goals for myself.
My objective is to reach 72'000 Hive Power by the end of 2024. This is an increase of 20%. I should be able to get 10% from organic growth and curation rewards and the remaining 10% should come from author rewards and earnings on the 2nd layer of Hive. This is a much less ambitious target than this year I believe but one that I'm confident that I can reach.
I want to continue building my HBD as well. I would like to get to 15'000 HBD by the end of 2024. It will greatly depend on the value of Hive whether I can reach it or not.

Congratulations on another 1K power-up! While, I'm sad that we will not have 1K power-ups fun in 2024 (but who knows, maybe we will... 😃), I do expect that 2024 will be much more different than this year... So, we should change our goals accordingly...

The way I know you, you will probably not break with this habit lol. I don't know yet but I will try to add some diversification to my portfolio next year and continue to grow my Hive Power in an organical way.
Hahahaha... Yeah, I know to be (too) stubborn... Will try to have a bit more relaxed approach, but I never know with myself what could happen... Diversification is the point and I suppose that the next few months would be the last chance for doing that... After that, we should take some profits... :)

Thank you! There was a time when I struggled to make 100 HP power ups as well. It took me quite some time and efforts to get where I am now :-)
All things considered, I think you've done a terrific job in ALMOST meeting your goals set! 😜 Personally, I've missed my own personal goals by about 10-20% but I'm still pretty satisfied too!
It's difficult to define goals in a good manner simply because there are many compononents that we can't guess. Like how will prices evolve or how busy will I be next year. 10%-20% off the target is pretty decent I believe.

It's a process and I believe all hivians go through it. According to the time and money we can invest, the process is faster or slower but in the end we will get there :-)
Achieving 95% on your HP yearly goal is a great achievement, congratulations. Building my HBD stack will also be a focused goal of mine in 2024, I think the market will be favourable to achieve it. Good luck with your 2024 goals :)

You've done really well in 2023! I won't have a HP goal in 2024 and not until the next bear market. Let's see if my choice is correct or not. Maybe continuing to power up no matter the cycle period will be the better option.
I decided to reduce my ambitions for 2024 and try to grow only organically. I will not reinvest everything from second layers and try to diversify my portfolio a little bit :-)

Happy day Bro! I loved reading this post, it's very motivating. It's different for me for many reasons, but I have the will to do it and the faith. Maybe my 2024 will be similar to your 2023 in growth, because I am very determined.
It is normal that your goals are not so ambitious for 2024, you have made a lot of effort and you can also give a chance for everything to happen organically, there is still a lot to do as a witness, that is the next goal 😉
For 2024, I want to put my focus more on the Liotes project and grow more with it. That's a reason why I'm maybe a bit less ambitious for 2024 for my personal account. I hope that your 2024 will be very productive and that you can grow your bags as much as possible :-)

I am also planning up increase my HBD and HP in Hive. As for the exact numbers, I am not sure but I do plan on taking things slowly because it's been busy at work lately
It's not easy to define the numbers at the beginning of the year. I tended to be too ambitious in the past and I try to go a bit "softer" into 2024 :-)
Even though the year is close to coming to an end, I still strongly believe you will still achieve that 5% rrmami
