Paradox Pokemon 1 — Past Tauros

Welcome to Alternative Paradox Pokemon!

In this series I will be creating new Paradox Pokemon. Paradox Pokemon were introduced in the latest games — Scarlet & Violet, and are past and future versions of Pokemon.

Todays pokemon is Past Tauros, called Great Horn.

Orginial Sketch & Outline

To make Tauros a past version, i decided to give it bigger horns, more fur and thicker tails.

The horns would be used for defence in a more hostile environment, as well as clearing obstacles in its path. I felt like this was around at the end of the ice age, therefore had more thick fur to keep it warm and it evolved to lose this as the climate warmed. I gave it thicker tails that could also be used to attack and move things since they were stronger, with them evolving into more like whips in the original Tauros. I also made the legs thicker, to assist in the harsh environments of the past.

Colour

Since Paradox Pokemon are just past/future versions of pokemon, i am keeping the same colour scheme unless i feel like a evolutionary requirement for it.
