Paradox Pokemon 4 — Future Dracozolt

Welcome to Alternative Paradox Pokemon!

In this series I will be creating new Paradox Pokemon. Paradox Pokemon were introduced in the latest games — Scarlet & Violet, and are past and future versions of Pokemon.

Todays pokemon is Future Dracozolt ,called Thunder Fury.

Original Sketch & Outline

All the future paradox pokemon in Pokemon Violet are robots, however i dislike this and for my future pokemon i want to make them adapt to future environments much like animals evolve over time.

Since Dracozolt is an extinct fossil pokemon, most likely from 2 seperate pokemon whose fossils have been combine. I decided to base it on the reanimated fossils being around at the present time, then evolving from there, rather than never having went extinct. Although i think the overall appearance may be similar

The pokedex entry states it was unbeatable thanks to its powerful lower body but went extinct due to depleting its plant based food sources.

In my variant the pokemon switched to a omnivorous diet and this resulted in many changes mainly in the upper body. The upper body grew to match the size of its lower body over time. This resulted from the increased protein in its diet. The pokemon still generates electricity from its huge leg muscles which allows it to catch it prey with ease.

Colour

I took the colour scheme from the lower body and made the upper body match. I added yellow to the head feathers, where the original colour still remained.
