“I’ll pay you back once I get my paycheck.”
“How many times do you think I was fooled by that? Reason two: I have my own family to feed too. Don’t you know?!”
“I AM your family! Your bro! You have your daughter, but I know you can spare something for me too.“
Sigh… “Reason Three: The broken mirror. How clumsy are you?! This isn’t the first time you break something left by our parents! “
*CRACK
“I might really die…”
“You won’t! …Don't be dramatic! ...Okay, I'll visit you at the weekend. No more money from me, but I’ll cook something for you.”
*CLICK
“@#!$ this heartless sister!”

It's been a while since the last chapter.
If you haven't noticed, I wrote this chapter without using their names or "he said" tags. I love writing stories using dialogue only, especially when it's a situation that makes it easy to guess which piece of dialogue belongs to whom.
Hisham is struggling financially, and his sister won't help. I wanted to make it obvious that she's not betraying him. He's the one who betrayed her before by not fulfilling his promises. I hope I succeeded with that.
What do you think?
I think I should make an updated version of this story with all chapters below each other in one post, but I think I better wait until I finish the story so I do it for all chapters combined. Tell me if you like the idea. We're past the halfway.
