Digimon World Next Order is a Digital Pet simulator game where you take care of your Digimon needs while recruiting Digimon to the City and building it along the way.

Digimon World Next Order is a modern sequel to the beloved first entry of the Digimon World series. This time, you manage two Digimon at a time instead of one! The scope of the world is also bigger, and there are more recruitable and obtainable Digimon. The soundtrack is very nostalgic with many tracks being remasters of Digimon World 1 OST. Still, the original had more charm in the moment-to-moment experience.

I started this session by training my Rookie-level Goblimon. I had my Ultimate-level Paildramon as a crutch so I wanted to fight stronger opponents than usual. I find it interesting that my Goblimon is stronger than my first generation's Ultimate despite being two levels under him.

I fought a lot of Digimon that were way above my level this time. I had to use a lot of healing items to keep up. I loved fighting BlackWarGrowlmon who becomes a recurring fight in the future.

Near the end of this session, I recruit Tyrannomon. I was collecting Best Meat for him in the past few missions. After that, I went to progress the story a bit more...
