Casting the Pepe-tronus Charm - Playing the Frog Battle Card Game - With Frens

I've been accumulating and powering up some PEPE tokens, and today I recieved an invite to partipate in the Frog Battle Card Game (thank you @ironshield) - https://pepegame.xyz/home.html

Off to a Good Start!

My first impressions are good. I sent over some $HBD in exchange for VOLTS, which are the ingame currency, and the exchange was proccessed quickly. Note the game is taking place on a centralized server, it will be interesting as it is developed if it can be brought entirely on chain. Volts can be converted back to HBD but current participants seem to be more interested in seeing the game be developed, rather than extracting direct value from it (in its current stage). I swapped some Volts for two packs of Pepe cards and tried a few battles against the computer. Each pack has three cards with one melee, one ranged, and one magic character. I lucked out an pulled a legendary melee card, melee is your front ranker and damage sponge so this has made earlier battles easier. When you initiate a battle you select your three cards, one of each type and the battle is resolved automatically. The level of complexity is about right for the time I have to play and my gaming skills (low).

The game is definitely in an Alpha state, but it is playable now, relatively fun and I was able to go from buying some packs to fighting in less than five-minutes. I can see some areas where some additional features can be added in, but I'm definitely cheering for the @pepegame team. I think it's a strong mechanism to add value to @pepetoken. I'll be staking PEPE and watching the progress.

Yes plenty of room for MOAR features of which we've discussed many, despite having low budget and a small team.

Interesting, a new card game.

I had previously heard of a similar game, only instead of frogs they are dogs.

It looks very promising, surely in a few months it will improve in unimaginable ways.

I will keep it in mind.
