How Did The Week Go ?

HP

This was one of those weeks where I really struggled with writers' block. I guess it was mostly down to too much real-world stress. I'd love to find a way to make a living just blogging in the crypto-sphere and living off interest on investments !

So my HP earnings were down a bit, and next week's are likely to be a little low as well. But if I can stay consistently over 20 HP gain a week I'll be happy. Most of my gain this week was the 50 HIVE I powered up on HPUD. I need to buy some more liquid HIVE in the next week or two.....

HBD

HBD did really well this week. With the price of HIVE dipping a little, I put a median amount in from my purchase plan.

But it was also HBD interest week. My interest for this month was 28.856 HBD - frustratingly close to the 30 HBD a month interest that's my short term goal, but still very respectable.

LEO

LEO gains were a respectable 17.403, a little down on the previous few weeks but still decent. I'm continuing to edge my delegation to @leo.voter up each week, and getting closer to the goal (the only reason I'm under it is a quirk of setting the goal after Week 1).

My InLeo Primium comes up in a couple of days, and I probably won't renew it immediately. It doesn't seem to have done anywhere near as well this month as last. I'm pretty sure it's down to me rather than anything inherently wrong with Premium - I just need to get to a position in my life where I've got less work distractions and can focus on fun stuff like making Hive posts 😁

Tribe Tokens

I've realised a couple of things about Tribe Tokens in the last week.

First is that my Hive Engine account is a mess. I've got bits and bobs of loads of different tokens, and I'm spending too much time doing staking and delegations for amounts that are fractions of a penny. That's just not cost effective.

Second is that about 95% of Tribe Tokens have the same trajectory; they launch and after initial interest the price has a sharp drop followed by an ongoing slow decline to nothing. There are a few (notably LEO and EDS) which buck this trend, but I can't think of any that get onto this path recover from it - even such popular tokens as ALIVE and PIZZA seem to be following this pattern.

So I've made the tough decision to un-delegate and un-stake the majority of the Tribe Tokens I've got and gradually sell them off, using the SWAP.HIVE generated to buy LEO or move back into liquid HIVE.

I'll be holding onto LEO, EDS, EDSMM, BEE, and a couple of other utility tokens and will probably keep LOLZ, BBH and SLOTHBUZZ. Focusing on just a few tokens should save me time and help me really get the best out of them. I always forget to use tipping tokens, so not too concerned about those.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
