Saturday Savers 2024 Progress Report - Week 48

It's Saturday, and time for my weekly #SaturdaySavers update ! We're on week 48 and into the last month, so it's the final push to hit those targets 😀

How Did The Week Go ?

Even with the insanity of Black Friday (and the effort getting ready for it), I still managed to post every day last week. But one or two of the posts were a bit "autopilot", lol. Exhaustion is definitely a fact of life at this time of year in the e-commerce world.

HP earnings continue to be reasonable, at 42.4HP, meaning that I need to earn 21.499 a week to hit target, down from 25.679 last week. I'm at 98% of target, and it feels like it's in sniffing reach !

HBD earnings were 33.794, with 27.992 of it being from the monthly interest. I'm getting closer to being back to my unofficial goal of earning 30 HBD interest a month. But unless I win the lottery and can afford to throw fiat at buying HBD I probably won't hit my target for the year.

Good news - I've hit another one of my secondary targets ! My delegation to @eds-vote has tipped over the goal I set at the beginning of the year. For a long time it felt like I'd never get there ! For a while now I'll probably focus on building my Hive Power up, I'm consistently running my vote power down far more than I mean to. So many great things to curate, so little vote power 😁

Very important - it's HPUD tomorrow !

The price of HIVE is starting to edge up nicely, so I'll definitely be powering more up from my somewhat depleted stack of liquid HIVE. I'm wondering whether I should buy more before the price goes up even further, but for now I don't have the cash sitting around that I can afford to spend. They always say you should only invest what you can afford to lose in crypto !

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
