The Second D&D Tarak Campaign - Let's Meet Our Characters !
Welcome
In the last post I introduced the campaign, the second party I ran starting in the same area of my Homebrew world. This time around, I'll do a brief introduction to the characters.
I hope you enjoy my D&D campaign write-ups, and the commentary I add to them. Questions, comments and feedback are welcome !

The characters started in the city of Tarak, and were first level adventurers who had just graduated from the city's university. This institution is renowned throughout Argull as a centre of learning, with wealthy families from across the northern world sending their children there to gain an education.
It is the custom there that after graduating, students spend some time in Tarak carrying out a service for the Principality. It is considered a way to thank the place for their education. It's also a way to make amends for the inevitable outrageous student behaviour they will have inflicted on the town.
A side benefit to the students is that this really cements the bonds between them and sets them up with contacts and friends for life. Useful when so many of them are the scions of illustrious families and rulers who can benefit from those connections !
The party consisted of four members;
Erioch, a battle priest of Arioch. Let's just say that his focus was on the "battle" part of battle priest, and that healing spells were not really his thing. Definitely a tough cookie, and pretty much assumed the mantle of party leader without much opposition from the others.
Garnet, a female aasimar sorcerer. For those who don't know, and aasimar is basically a half-angel, the outcome of a relationship between a celestial being and a mundane one (normally a human). They are normally good-aligned, but that's not compulsory and I definitely had my doubts about this one's alignment as the campaign went on !
Gorwin; a straightforward human fighter. It was an effective build somewhat marred by an over-impetuous nature, although how much of this was the character and how much the player is open to debate !
Reaswe; a human rogue. His character design was very much focused on stealth. His comrades rightly worked out very quickly that he was the kind of opportunist who could be trusted to rob them in their sleep.
Their initial introduction was when they were summoned to meet Master Kauma-Turaga, the University's Head of Post-Graduate Students. He asks them to go to the village of Oakhurst and help them sort out some local difficulties.
Thus begins their adventure....
