Zapfic50 Monday - Broken Robot

This post is my entry to the ZapficMonday writing contest for this week - the prompt is "Robot".

Dave poked the dead machine with a screwdriver. The AI inside should still be there.

“Darn it machine, you’re a robot. The word means worker. So get back to work.”

The machine extended it’s arm and wrote in the dust on the floor.

“I’m sorry Dave, I can’t do that.”

For any of my friends (or anyone else, for that matter !) who reads this and fancies giving it a try, it's really fun and thought provoking. The rules are really simple;
