Zapfic50Monday - Far Too Late !

This post is my entry to the ZapficMonday writing contest for this week - the prompt is Emergency. Since we're now in October and it's Halloween month, I thought I'd create something suitably spooky 😁

Blue flashing lights; the ambulance pulled up, the crew piled out and banged on the door.

“We had a silent call – is it a heart attack or stroke ? What’s the emergency ?”

“Sorry. It was our poltergeist. He died of a heart attack in this house forty years ago.”

For any of my friends (or anyone else, for that matter !) who reads this and fancies giving it a try, it's really fun and thought provoking. The rules are really simple;
