Away from TV!
How often do you watch TV in your home, or when you have free time do you prefer to watch TV or spend more time on your smartphone? Recently I don't watched TV at home, more because I have an internet connection at home, and I use the TV at home as the screen for my PC. and there is also where I mostly use it to make the post for my hive. But it is mostly used by my son to watch YouTube in the morning and in the evening. I am trying to limit the screen time for my son.
But the good thing is that I spend less interest on the shitty entertainment news that is being broadcasted by the TV channel. Not sure how it is working, but although I live in a religious country, it seems the news of other family matters attracts most of others, and thus the rating of this kind of broadcast got more attention and has more viewers.
I am not saying that all of the tv shows are bad, not nowadays almost all of them are just trash. I still remember how I spent most of my childhood longing for Saturday and Sunday to watch cartoons or anime, but now the broadcasting commission decided to ban them because of little violence that available there, yet they allow some kind of opera shows that shows how middle school student got pregnant, partying, and having great violence.
So I am lucky that I decided to get away from TV, although I now spend more time on my phone watching some youtube tutorials.
