That changed my perspective
I recently watched a few short videos of Dave Ramsey's talk to help give advice for Americans about how to manage their financial life. But one thing that I noticed is that most Americans have a huge student debt in their life, and thus really puts a huge burden on their financial situation later in their lives.
In the past, I really amazed by how the Americans went about their life, since it seems that they have a wonderful life, good education, and nice salary. Everything seems to be a lot better than life here in my country, where things are difficult, no education, or a wonderful life.
But with those shows now I understand that sometimes, the cost of education here in my country is a lot cheaper than in the US. Life can be a lot better here, although we seem to live a much lower type of lifestyle.
I must admit that watching that show changed my perspective on the things that came to my mind in the past. What I think is the perfect life, it might not always the case, since there are so many hidden things that I don't really know for real.
My husband had a similar realization when he worked in South Korea. He thought Koreans were rich. He didn't know that most families were deeply buried in debt.
Yes, I think there are some difficulties in any great country out there, because what portrayed to us are only the good things only. I am not saying that the life here are better since my country are also full of problem, but at least there is something I am grateful for now.
thank you very much my friend.
