TerraCore - Alpha- New P2E game on HIVE

TerraCore is the latest P2E game in HIVE currently launched in its Alpha stage. It is set in a world hit by a catastrophic event that depleted all the natural resources forcing humans to scavenge scraps to survive.

How To Join the Alpha

You need to become a Citizen to get access to TerraCore. The cost of Citizenship is currently 10 HIVE.

Token

$SCRAP is the token of TerraCore. We can get the token currently in two ways, either by Mining or by Stealing the unclaimed stash of other players. Mining and Stealing from other players are dependent on the Stats of the Player. $SCRAP is used to increase the stats and the amount of $SCRAP required exponentially rises after every level

• Engineering: Determines the Mining power of the player. The player starts with base mining of 0.001 and with every level increase in engineering the mining rate will go up 10%. It takes 1$ SCRAP to move to Level 2, 4$Scrap to move to Level 3, etc.

• DAMAGE: Determines your Attack power. The player starts with a Base damage of 10 and it increases by 10 as we level up. When attacking the enemy Damage will first take out the defense and if there are further attack points available it will reduce the HP of the enemy. The reduction of the enemy's HP determines how much of the unclaimed stash can be stolen. For example, if You have 30 Damage and your enemy has 20 Defense, then you can reduce the HP of the player by 10 and be able to steal a percentage proportion of the enemy's unclaimed stash. We will only be able to steal from Players whose Defense is lower than our Attack power. There is a limit to how many times you can attack, Attack regenerates 1 charge per 4 hours and you can hold a maximum of 8 attacks at any given time.

• Defense: Determines your ability to defend from Enemy attacks. When an enemy attacks, it will first remove the defense and then only be able to claim a portion of the unclaimed stash. Defense starts with base 10 and increases by 10 as you level up. $SCRAP used to level increases exponentially with each level.

• Stash Size: Determines the amount of Unclaimed $SCRAP that can be held in your account at anytime.

• Claim: Mechanic to transfer the unclaimed $SCRAP to the Players HIVE engine Wallet. Claims are regenarating at the rate of 1 charge per 4 hours.

• Favor: There are several contribution events that as a community, players need to contribute. Currently, this is towards the exploration of a new unlockable planet Oceania. Favor will be based on the $SCRAP provided to these contribution events. Favor also has a mechanic which determines the percentage of unclaimed $SCRAP stolen while attacking (Saw in the game's discord, not entirely sure)

For New Citizens entering the game, other players cannot attack until the account is 24hrs old, so new players need not worry about the attack and can first focus on improving their stats.

Conclusion

TerraCore is currently an idle clicker game with some interesting mechanics like looting other players' unclaimed stash. The game just started its Alpha a few days ago and now has over 131 citizens currently playing. The game has a very low entry fee of 10 HIVE which can be recouped currently very easily as $SCRAP tokens are performing very well in the HIVE Engine. I am excited to see how this fun game will turn out.
