STOPI'm not sure but this coin commemorates the victory by the Canadian hockey team over the USSR in a best of seven game series. Old time hockey way before my time.
In 1968, the Soviet Union militarily occupied my country. Hockey was the only area where we could fight them. We all understood the game that way. The occupation ended in 1991. I haven't watched hockey since then.
