Here's my 61st Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️

(Once again as I've mentioned in my previous brawl report, I've just finished my travels and am catching up with all those reports. Thankfully, I'll only be 1 report away from being up to date after this 🤣)

It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 44th week in a row for me.

Thanks to the previous brawl's complete no show of any opponents at all, it meant I had nothing to update in terms of matches played. Literal cricket sounds 😜.

I will probably use up all my stored MERITS when I make my next post, which SHOULD bring me up to date on all my brawl reports. Till then, it'll be a barren empty slot for my Gladius pack updates here.

_{Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)}

_{Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉}

LOST.

This was a bad move from me. I had been so focused on the thorns ruleset that I had neglected to think that the opponent might field a healer behind his tank. I was healed to death basically. 😭

The opponent had a better lineup overall. However, I had also failed to consider the effects of the enrage ruleset. This allowed his units to become faster than mine after my originally faster units had hit him. Thus resulting in my units dying first in the next round. 😭

That's all I can say. This was supposed to be an easy win for me. Poison and Earthquake had ensured that my Forgotten One was the last one standing against his Chaos Dragon. with more than ample health. Yet through some terrible RNG, I somehow contrived to miss ALL MY ATTACKS until I eventually died 😡.

What can I say? The universe is intent on me losing!

One of my worst results ever. The holiday travelling must have really affected me 🤣. In my defense, the last match was simply horrible RNG. I can't believe I missed every single attack unitl I lost!

_{I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.}

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 3rd place! 🏆🏆🏆

This was a really close fight. The top 3 were seperated by only 4 wins. If I had done just a little better, and with some other results going our way, it could have very well ended up very differently. This just shows how fine the margins are at times.

On a sidenote, we've still got some unfilled frays too so...
