Here's my 83rd Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️

Hive's price is hovering around $0.39 at the moment. I should have held off on reconverting my HBD back into HIVE for 1-2 more days. That would have meant slightly more profits from that Hive pump last week. Oh well, I can't complain too much anyway. 🤑🚀📈

I'm also getting used to the new Splinterlands energy system, The flat rate of 50 energy without any diminishing returns and 1 energy regenerated per hour seems to simplify things a lot more. I think I do prefer the new method to be honest. I doubt I'll be spending DEC on recharging the energy bar anytime soon though.

Those 5 straight perfect wins from the last brawl really pulled my win percentage back up again. I wonder if I can continue keeping up this good streak of wins? 🤔 A healthy dose of luck in avoiding opponents with those really rare gold foil Gladius cards/Legendaries is a must. 😅🍀

I'm still way short of the required amounts of MERITS needed for my next Gladius Scroll. It should take an estimated 1 or 2 more brawls before I reach there.

_{Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)}

_{Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉}

A "perfect streak"? 💯 Considering I did nothing but wait for an opponent who never showed up, I think no congratulations at all are in order. 🤣 I'll take the win regardless though.

My alt performed pretty well with it's 5-1 overall score. Just 1 shy of a perfect run of it's own. So near yet so far.

_{I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.}

Ouch. This was a bad week for us. Our opponents were way ahead of us and we were nowhere close to finishing on the podium. We just have to pick ourselves up and try harder again next week.
