1oz Silver Scottsdale Mint Marquee Peacock Bar

Scottsdale Mint produces some of the best-designed products available. They do an outstanding job with the execution of fine details, so when this piece came up in the buyer's group I'm in, I had to grab one. Sure, it's not exactly a collectible and will be unlikely to significantly increase in value, but that's fine with me.

Obverse

The peacock design is somewhat reminiscent of an Asian phoenix design, with its elaborate feathers. The border is a clean and intricate design. I appreciate that they left the field around the peacock polished and free of any background design, so the peacock design stands out more.

Reverse

Not to be outdone by the obverse, the reverse features the iconic Scottsdale Mint lion, with some intricate line work and another fancy border. Scottsdale Mint always follows through with a great design on both sides, which I love about them.

I ended up paying $38.50 for this, which is expected since Scottsdale Mint products command a decent premium. If you find one cheaper than that, don't hesitate to grab it! This is one you'll want to keep in your collection!
