2021 1/2oz Silver First Majestic Rounds
I had a little bit of leftover credit with my dealer after I accidentally overpaid on a prior order. I couldn't decide what to get, so I decided to grab some random half ounce silver rounds. The nice thing about these deals is it's a win for everyone. The dealer can offload a lot of their excess inventory that's not moving much, the buyer gets a surprise, and the price above spot is about as low as you can get.
I took a chance and ended up with these half ounce silver rounds from First Majestic.
Obverse
I've bought some of their bars in the past, and these rounds don't disappoint. They have that classic First Majestic mirror polish that is just mesmerizing.
Reverse
The reverse has an interesting design to it. It looks like their goal was to mimic the Aztec designs you see on the Aztec calendar rounds and on some of the limited run Libertad designs. It's pretty cool!
First Majestic has quite a few mines operating. Most are either in Mexico or Canada. For a while, it was expensive for US customers to buy their products since shipping was fairly costly. In 2023, they built their own mint facility in Nevada, so now there is a much wider variety of product available in the US, and shipping is cheap!

First Majestic is a regular presence at the local Vancouver Resource Investment convention as they even sell their silver rounds right from their own booth. I have a different Aztec round. I said, "I bet this silver is from Mexico." Meeting some of the senior staff of the company was a cool experience.

If I'm right about the Reset, your silver would be about the same size as a 1/2 ounce $5 U.S. Silver Coin, which will have the Spending Power of 500 of today's Fiat USD's...
