2024 50g Silver PAMP Holographic Dragon
I normally don't like to buy "gram" anything when it comes to silver or gold. Call me weird, but I prefer Troy ounces because math and I have a love-hate relationship. It's not because I can't do it and I'm bad at math, but because I'm lazy.
I made the exception with this one because PAMP did a good job with the dragon design by not making it look goofy, and they applied a holographic coating to the obverse. Double win!
Obverse
So here is what the bar looks like head on. It's a simple dragon winding itself around a tree. The detail on the scales is great, and it looks like a ferocious dragon.
I hope you appreciate how hard and annoying it was to get a decent picture of the hologram in action. I had to hold my phone in one hand, while holding a light underneath it in my other hand, then rotate the light to get different angles, all while holding the phone still to snap pictures. Despite the challenge, I came, I saw, and I conquered!
Reverse
Since the Chinese believe the number 8 is good luck, PAMP limited the mintage to 8,888. I got number 1064. The back is not holographic and is less interesting, but it's still better than some monarch or politicians.

I paid $109 for it, which isn't that surprising if you're familiar with PAMP. I don't buy many of their products, but the few that I do have are exquisite. This one is no exception.
