Birria Tacos from Antonio's Kitchen

I love Mexican food. I'm a sucker for food trucks. So when I find a food truck that specializes in Mexican food, it catches my eye. I'm glad it did this time, because the food did not disappoint!

The business's name is Antonio's Kitchen. They have an excellent selection of food. My favorite is anything that has their Birria meat in it!

Birria Tacos
Birria meat, for these tacos at least, is slow cooked beef. They add monterey jack cheese, cilantro and onions. They give you a side of rice and beans, some tomatillo and... consumé!

That consumé is the star of the show! It's the broth from the slow cooked beef, with all the flavor concentrated in juicy goodness! I like to add the tomatillo to it and give it a little bit of a kick.

From there, I like to dip the taco in the beans, then dip that in the consumé. It makes for a fantastic dinner, and is around $10, so it's not as expensive as a sit-down style restaurant. 😁
