Coffee Helps with Christmas Burnout

I was scrolling through pictures on my phone to purge and came across an image that reminded me of how tired I feel. I enjoy the Christmas season, but it seems like because Thanksgiving was very late this year, I'm trying to cram the same amount of things from last year into a shorter period of time. Coffee, naturally, helps me cope with some of this Christmas burnout.

Now, I'm not off doing stupid things, but coffee is certainly helping with the seemingly neverending parties and events that keep coming up. Last weekend was my son's friend's birthday party. The weekend before was Christmas lights. This weekend is wrapping gifts and one last Christmas party. Through it all, coffee has come to my rescue.

Fortunately, Christmas is almost here. Then it'll be New Years, and I can breathe a sigh of relief because I never bother with resolutions.

In the meantime, I'll grab some peppermint bark, drink some egg nog, and wait for the ride to come to a complete stop before exiting. What would we do without coffee?
