Drip Go The Dividends

As the crypto bull run is taking place, it's not unexpected for Hive price to lag behind. Right now, meme coins are benefiting from the surge in interest. Eventually, the price of Hive is expected to rise as well. That means dividends being paid out by various tokens and projects will be worth far more in the near future.

While the prices are still low, it's not too late to start investing in projects that will help you build up a nice passive income you can store away in your "treasure room." When the price of Hive increases, you can start taking some sweet profits.

The challenge for most of us becomes a decision-making process of where to best invest with the funds we have available. While I'm no expert on all of the various projects going on, I've spent my fair share of time researching. Occasionally, I'll get asked about what tokens I'm invested in, so why not make a post about it?

Rather than spend as much time as I did researching, I've compiled a list of projects I've invested in for various reasons. All of the projects ultimately pay Hive or Swap.Hive on a set payout schedule.

DAB
Pays daily Hive for holding the tokens liquid in your wallet.

You can mint DAB through a lottery system by staking DBOND, which is bought on the Hive-Engine market.

DRIP
Pays daily Swap.Hive and more DRIP for keeping them staked. If you stake what you receive, it doesn't take long to compound your returns! These are also bought on the H-E market.

EDS
Pays weekly Hive for holding the tokens liquid in your wallet.

You can mint EDS through a lottery system by staking EDSM and EDSMM. You can also send HBD to @eds-d to receive EDSD, which mint EDS weekly. You can send the EDSD back at any time to have your HBD refunded.

You can also buy these on the H-E market.

SIM
Pays daily Hive for holding liquid based on your balance 30 days ago.

The interesting part here is the SIM is still considered "liquid" if you have it in the liquidity pool, so I keep most of it there, which in turns pays me SIM daily. I end up putting it back into the pool to compound my earnings.

This can be bought on the H-E market, but is usually cheaper buying it through the liquidity pool.

PWR
This one is a little more of an unknown. The creator, Empo, plans to pay out dividends. It hasn't been explained if this will be daily, weekly, etc., but it'll be paid out to those holding it in their wallet.

I'm currently in the PWR liquidity pool so I receive a daily PWR payout and can grow my holdings over time. Part of it I keep liquid, and part of it goes right back into the liquidity pool.

This can be bought on H-E and through the liquidity pool.

So, there you have it! This certainly isn’t an exhaustive list, but these tokens are the majority of my focus. I'm sure other projects will come along that I'll invest in, so I'll try to make these posts periodically as things change over time.

I also have the dividend mindset. It's definitely good for the growth. PWR is the one I am yet to venture into. Rest I have invested myself into. :)

I have invested heavily in DAB, EDS and SIM as well. PWR I left a little in the pool just to grow very slowly, I think besides your post I saw somewhere else about the future paying dividends, so starting today and preparing for the future.

The DRIP, I even receive the daily payment, but I didn't get to do the math to see the APR and if it pays to enter it more or not. Anyway, great post explaining a bit about these tokens!

Excellent! I'm not familiar with YES token and don't see much written about it anywhere. Is there a post somewhere I could read more about it?

I believe the APR is better if you compound it. I believe I read it in one of their posts, but I don't remember the exact percentage.

ohhh sorry, the translator messed me up, it's the SIM token from dCity haha. I've been investing in the ones you mentioned. I can try to take a better look at DRIP then, I really have little of it.

Oh, gotcha! Yeah, that's a great token to have!

I don't think I'll hold DRIP long-term. I'm compounding right now and will likely take profits when Hive price rises.
