Many People Subconsciously Know Silver and Gold Are Money

This is a theory I have. I can't really prove it, but a lot of evidence exists to back it up. Humans have always needed a means of exchange when two parties can't agree on a trade. Say someone wants eggs but only has a pair of shoes to trade, but the person with the eggs doesn't want shoes. Silver and gold fix that problem.

While governments have moved away from silver and gold to fiat backed by nothing, people still know better. We have the phrase "cold, hard cash" for a reason. That's not talking about debt notes. Silver and gold are cold to the touch, hard, and... they're money.

You look in video games and what do so many of them use as a form of currency? Silver or gold, typically.

Even in movies, it's used as currency, and highly sought after.

Even crypto is referred to as "coins" despite being digital. Humans have a history with silver and gold that's not easily broken. Some can be made to forget, or simply never be taught, but deep down, many still know that silver and gold are true money, even if they can't consciously acknowledge it.

Which best fits "Circulating Money"... Silver and Gold "Coins" or Silver and Gold "Bars"...??? I tend to believe that Silver and Gold "Bars" are more of a Commodity than Money... Yes, I agree that both have Value, but I look at money as if it were a "Tool" to Measure Value... This means they need "Standard" Weights and Face Value Measurements... Sorry for ranting...lol...

I think recognizability in the form of coins will usually trump bars when someone is given a choice, unless the premium on the coin is considerably greater.

Circulating Silver and Gold Coins can have any Premiums, if they're somehow wanted by Coin Collectors, but for the most part their "Face Values" will be Premium Free...

6000+ years of monetary history can't be wrong across a multitude of various cultures and civilizations all over the world. Just holding my gold stack in my own two hands puts me in awe in how beautiful and at the same time valuable it really is.

Right?

And yes, holding it and playing with it really drives the point home for a lot of people.
