My 2024 Hive Goals Update 2/23/24

I joined the #saturdaysavers club recently, so instead of staggering these posts out every few weeks my goal is to post these on Friday nights.

It's always good to revisit goals to track progress, and posting about it is a good way to cement it in my mind. It also acts as a subconscious reminder.

Hive Power
My primary savings goal is to reach 5000 HP by the end of the year.

Starting from last Friday, I was at about 1911 HP. I sold some silver and converted it to Hive to help power up, so I currently sit at 2361 HP.

EDS
I took a lot of the funds from other investments I sold and put those into EDS, since it pays nice weekly dividends.

They recently introduced EDS-D which can be bought at 1 HBD each, and mint continual EDS tokens weekly. When you don't want them anymore, you send them back and get your HBD refunded. I currently have a recurring HBD transfer of 0.3 HBD every other day, to build up a stockpile. So far, this plan is working well.

I've also been purchasing EDSMM (EDS Mini Miners) to help speed along my EDS rewards, and am delegating 200 HP to also get some token rewards from that. I'd like to try and be at 130 EDS by the end of the year, between all of these earning methods.

I'm currently at 102.79 EDS, averaging about 0.54 per week. There are 44 weeks left in the year, so I should easily bring in another 23.76 EDS by the end of the year. That will leave me short by 3.45 EDS for the year. If I delegate another 100 HP to @eds-vote I can bridge that gap in 46 weeks with the addition of 2 EDS-D every week. Then I'll be all set!

BRO
Right now, I have almost 24 BRO tokens, which is a little up from 23 a few weeks ago. Considering one BRO sells for 7-8 Hive right now, I'm keeping my goal here extremely conservative. I will try to bring my total holdings here to 30 since I'll pick up some off Tribaldex. I'll likely exceed this goal before the end of the year which is fine, since I'll simply shift greater emphasis to some of my other remaining goals.

DAB/DBOND
I'm currently staking 960 DBOND to mint me new DAB each day. I plan to try and increase that to 1200 by the end of the year.

I have 612 DAB now. I currently get about 0.176 DAB/day. My original goal was 630 DAB, and I'll likely exceed that by quite a bit.

LGN
I originally was delegating to stickupcurator to get Legion drips. I stopped since some have been dumping Legion for cheap. It's normally around 1 Hive each, but has recently dipped to 0.82 each, so I took advantage. I have a little over 100 staked right now. I'll likely move my goal to 150 since I plan to steadily buy more, since I'll be tapering off other investment purchases.

2024 End Goal
My overall goal with these investments is to get in while they're cheaper and maintain a daily and monthly Hive drip, not including my regular posting regiment. With everything included, my goal is to bring in an average of 6-7 Hive/day by the end of 2024. I'm currently at about 3.1 Hive/day so there's still room for improvement, but I see myself getting closer to this goal as the year progresses. I may take some profits during this time, but the majority of earning will be reinvested to keep growing.
