Precious Metals 3rd Party Mailbox

You can buy your silver and gold from a local coin shop with cash for anonymity, but you'd be missing out on a lot of great pieces available online. The question is how to best maintain your privacy and anonymity without advertising "I have precious metals" to the world?

While the image itself is amusingly ridiculous, it has an element of truth to it. It's wise not to advertise to others that you stack gold and silver or really have anything of value at all.

This is the reason I opened up a private mailbox. If you're in the US, your local post office will typically let you do this and receive packages there. You can also do this through UPS, FedEx, and other private companies. The Post Office box is likely the cheapest option. For stackers outside the US, it would still be worth asking your mail delivery system staff if they offer this service.

Mine will even let me address the mail or packages to whoever I like. I put two initials only. The nice thing is that the employees there sign for the package, and that location assumes liability for the package. Then, when I come to pick up the package, I make sure it hasn't been tampered with, sign for the package, and then I assume liability for it and take it home with me.

I like the added layer of privacy and protection that going this route offers. Sure, I pay a little extra per month in order to do this, but when you're talking about spending more than $200/month in gold and silver, you can see how the benefits outweigh the small cost for this.

When I was in the States I had a PO box just for things like this. I don't have one now in Japan (yet).

Privacy is everything! The government is using the postal service to spy on all of us, and now with AI it's even easier. Sad that the US has become anything but a free country....

Never thought about that but I think it's very smart. Don't know if they have such options here.. When the time is right and I have some bigger purchases I will probably explore this :)
