Wars how they look currently is still a relatively new feature in Crownrend and I am all for it. A few weeks back (when I saw the price of Denar was stupid cheap I bought a ton, opened a ton of chests, burn extra items and amass some Ori) I started my own Alliance in Crownrend. You need to be in a Alliance to partake in wars.

That is my Alliance and I love it.

Currently there are 4 members in my Alliance and they are as follows:

• @cherokee4life (me) with a KP of 534.04
• @crestfallen29 with a KP of 590.13
• @dreloop07 with a KP of 392.52
• @vempromundo with a KP of 202.90

KP stands for Kingdom Power which is basically just all your Kingdom building levels added up into 1 stat.

Currently we are ranked #27 of all Alliances and that is based on KP of each Alliance (each members KP added up together).

I do have 1 spot open currently in my Alliance and looking for active players who want a team to join. Joining my Alliance currently comes with 2 benefits: +5 to Army Strength and +5 to Army Toughness.

⚔️How do Wars work?🛡️

1) Join The Current War

The Alliance leader goes to the War tab and selects to join the war.

2) View War Details

You can see which Alliances have joined the War and also timing of the current war:

3) Enter the Zones

From there you just need to place your members into 1 of 5 zones. You go head to head against another Alliance in each 'wave'. What determines if you win or not is if the member you put into the Zone has a higher KP than your opponents player in that same zone.

You can place more than 1 player into a Zone but then you run the risk of having empty zones and any Alliance could place someone with a 10 KP in there and win that point. So the strategy is determining where to place your players and where you think your opponent will place theirs.

I would love to get a 5th Alliance member just so that I could fill all 5 slots in each war. But that will come.

🗡️Previous War Results🗡️

You can see that the "Reward Crowns" was 500 for the last war. That means 500 Crowns was what was up for grabs and depending on how many points you earned in the war, you get a piece of that 500 Crowns.

We got 12th place in the last war and hoping to improve on that in the coming Wars.

👑Crowns👑

Crowns are important because they are a Alliance only currency. You need Crowns to upgrade Alliance Bonuses (the stat increases) and General Maintenance Cost. Increasing your Alliance to hold more players still cost ORI.

So if you are in a Alliance it is important to join the Wars and also do good enough to earn Crowns so that you can continue to level up your Alliance.

Right now my Alliance has a maintenance cost of 0.06 Crowns per day. And we have 56.23 Crowns in the bank. I was able to purchase some Crowns on a popup notification in game.

For reference. Each Alliance gets to pick 2 stats to boost for all members. I choose Strength and Toughness. If I wanted to upgrade Strength to level 2 (+50 Army Strength) it would cost...

50 Crowns to unlock and then 1 Crown per day as a maintenance fee. So it's pricey for sure.

To add a 3rd stat to be boosted is cheaper and only costs 5 Crowns with a 0.25 Crown daily maintenance cost.

I am trying to find the balance first and see how much Crowns my Alliance can earn each week from Wars before I start to spend them upgrading because I am not sure you can downgrade stats once you upgrade them so I am nervous to YOLO it and just start upgrading things.

I have had some success with Crownrend. Wrote a few good posts, won some items, bought Denar cheap and opened a lot of chests, started a Alliance. I know this isn't the average players experience but it's mine and I want to continue to grow my Kingdom and also bring along players around me up in my Alliance!
