Update after writing this and before posting it... My gosh this article is long, sorry about that. There is a LOT to unpack in this article so buckle up or just use the Table of Contents on the left to skip to the sections you care about.

I am back with more Crownrend. Why? Because I really enjoy the game and since it is still so early there is so much upside and I really want to grow my account and my alliance to be a big player in the space!

So we have a few things to discuss on my Crownrend adventure so let's get into it.

My Alliance has Open Spots for you!

First things first. I have 4 new spots open in my Alliance!! YUP 4 spots!

That is because I won some Ori (more on that later) and I was able to purchase 3 extra spots as opposed to the 1 I had already available.

So if you are looking for a Alliance to join that is 'active' then send a application to "Welcome to Valhalla". I don't require much except that you are a active player who is consistently upgrading your Kingdom.

My promise to all Alliance members is that I will never just kick you out of the Alliance. Unless WARs dramatically change. Right now you just gotta be in the Alliance and I put you into specific Zones. So all that matters is that you keep upgrading your Kingdom. IF I notice that your KP value is pretty stagnate then I will ping you here in a post or a snap asking if you are still active and if after a while there is no response then maybe I will kick, but that will probably only happen if someone really really wants to join and you are really really inactive. Just trying to be honest and upfront.

Last War Update

So the last War ended pretty well for my Alliance!

There was 27 Alliances that joined.

There was 7 days of battles so let's look at each one.

So that is 18 points we earned by my count but the official leaderboard says 17 points. Not sure if I just can't math right or if something is screwey with the leaderboard

In total that is 403 points earned. I do not know how they do the calculation of how many Crowns each Alliance gets but straight 1 to 1 There is 403 points and 750 Crowns up for grabs. so that would be 1.86 Crowns per point and my 17 points would be 31.63 Crowns.

My Alliance has 86.17 Crowns currently. Which is definitely more than 31 Crowns then I had before. But I have no idea if any clan members donated their Crowns to the Alliance or not.

Hey @mrtats it would be cool if on the Alliance page there was

A) I Alliance chat to talk to each other
B) Ledger to show how much the Alliance earned in each war and also how much each person donates to the Alliance with a tracker for each account of total over time deposited. Like how Splinterlands does it sort of.

The other thing too is that my personal account earned some Crowns as well. I now have 8.54 Crowns. I thought about just depositing them into the Alliance but then I saw the Chests that are only purchasable with Crowns and now I want to save up for that to see what's inside!

The Drop rate are better than a Standard Chest but are they just the same items as a Standard Chest? Because if so I think using my Crowns to upgrade my Alliance would be better served. Time will tell (actually just keep reading to find out haha)

Buying more Chests

I still had left over $DENAR from the last time I bought way too much of it. But I bought some more...

We are going to do the math here first...

So if I can math right, that is 150 chests I can open and it cost me roughly .... 2 Hive LMFAO What a steal!

So those 4 items are game changers. But now let's Burn all of our Common and Uncommon's to get some Ori so we can upgrade items!

OMG that took way too long haha. But I sold all my Common and Uncommon items and now I have 2.8 ORI to spend on upgrades.

I think I just want to upgrade Mythical items. Legendary are nice but I am not sure it's worth the ORI long term or not..

So upgrading my Star Court will net me some insane KP increase!

Ummm and so I accidentally double clicked the Upgrade button haha and upgraded it to Level 2 and then to Level 3 without knowing it. Which could have been worse but now that item is stacked!

And I am out of Ori now lol.

Buying and Opening a "WAR CHEST" time!

They cost 50 Crowns, which I have enough for just 1.

And it was so not worth it lol

They do have just slightly better odds than a Standard Chest, but I think if you are in a Alliance and want to help it grow it makes more sense to deposit your Crowns to the Alliance than buy a War Chest.

Upgrading my Kingdom

I have 50,000 $DENAR left over and since that will only get me 1 more set of 10 Chests.. I think I will spend it just upgrading my Kingdom Stats instead.

I upgraded A LOT and got my Kingdom up to a 1.2K Kingdom Power and am currently ranked #113

I basically just upgraded everything to be over level 200 (including my items) and then spent more on Mine/Vault levels and Army Toughness for now.

I am going to make another post next week just for Alliance stuff. I think I want to break it out because 1) there is no good way to communicate to your Alliance in game so this gives me that opportunity. And 2) It will segregate my Alliance/War specific content from my normal everyday Crownrend content and hopefully not make it so I have these massively long posts again haha.

Crownrend Improvements I want to see

1. Alliance Communication

2. Alliance deposit transaction records (scoring of some sort to show who is active in the Alliance)

3. I would LOVE a way to select multiple items in your inventory and then burn them all at once. After opening 150 chests I had like 140 something items I had to burn and make sure I click on the correct little Burn icon each time.
