Oh, yeah it's something DBuzz should eventually add.
There's a button in the editor of ecency called Snippets. It lets gives a place to Write text, Label it and store it so you can click the button again and use it in other posts.

@chrisrice! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @ahmadmangazap. (2/10)
The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want, plus you can win Hive Power and Alive Power delegations and Ecency Points in our chat every day.
If you know a programmer, it's like Code Snippets in code editors. Just with normal text instead of code, and probably less robust than that.
You could have an entire article out of Snippets (+mini edits) if you organize yourself well.

Are you referring to markdown?

For #ecency the text I'm referring to could be markdown or any other plain text. (So, yeah, Snippets are not Rich Text Format.)
But Snippets for Code Editors, how to explain it?
They're like that plus the option to change part of it quickly using parameters. Here's a tutorial:
