MuTerra - MUT token Withdrawals to Hive Engine are Active
Like I mentioned last week in my post new development is ongoing:
https://peakd.com/thgaming/@darmst5339/muterra-5-years-of-airdrop-tokens
You have been able to kill beasts and collect material for around a month now. Once you collected the material, you would return to the HDQ and sell the material for MUT tokens. If you had been doing this all this time, you will have been collecting several MUT tokens in-game.
I must admit, I was only journeying out from HDQ maybe one per day if that often so I had only earned a little over 10 MUT during this time period. 11.077 to be exact.
The withdrawal function was activated about 5 days ago. I actually could not find where to click to request my withdrawal. I clicked on almost everything on the screen except where I needed to.
To make a withdrawal, you must click on the amount of MUT that you have earned. This will bring up the withdrawal request screen then enter the amount that you would like to withdraw.
Please keep in mind, you must have 10 or more MUT to be able to request a MUT withdrawal.
Once you click on the "Withdraw" button, you will receive a confirmation that the request has been submitted. My request was processed in less than 30 seconds and the amount was available in my Hive Engine account.
Staking Rewards
I think I need to remind everyone about the Staking Rewards. They started in January of this year and will last for 5 years. The first year is about triple what you will receive in the second year. This is to reward early adopters in the game.
I receive 0.23 MUT daily airdrop from the game assets I own. And now I can take the MUT tokens I earn in-game and stake them to earn as well. My MUT balance is currently small but I plan on building that up over time.
With a balance of only 18.7 MUT tokens, I am receiving an additional 0.16979501 MUT in Staking Rewards. Since the Staking Rewards are also staked, you will be earning Staking Rewards upon Staking Rewards each day so your rewards will be compounding over the 5 year Staking Reward Period.
Repair Initiatives
There are several NPC (non-player characters) scattered through out the game. When speaking to some of these they will ask if you would like to help with the protection of the main city by donating MUT for repairs.
This is a way for the players to vote on different initiatives and drive the development direction of the game.
I decided to donate some of my earned MUT to the Repair Initiative of the South Wall. That is the wall with the main gate into the city from the areas where all the beasts are currently located that you fight.
To Play
You can explore in the city without purchasing a Tamer License. However to play and earn, you will need both a Tamer and a Tamer License. You can start out with the default Tamer - Manav which is free until all of them have been claimed. There are still 9935 of them remaining in-game.
Or you could purchase one from the Market. All of the different Tamers have different stats. The higher rarity Tamers have better stats and can explore for a longer period of time before their stamina gets low.
There are several Tamers on the market that have better stats than the default Tamer so check out the stats to determine which one best fits your playing style.
Also, To activate a Tamer and earn in-game, you must have a Tamer License. They are currently $10 each.
But I found there are a very small number on the market for less than that. When I say very small number I mean only 4 which start at $8.10 so if you would like one of these you had better get them before others do.
