Rising Star - Digital Saxophones are new to me

I like to pull up information regarding all the various instruments that are represented on cards in the Rising Star Game. Instruments have really changed a lot over the last 40 years since I was in band.

When I played in High School Band, the only digital instruments was an electric Piano. The Saxophone section of the band was mostly made up of Alto Saxs but there were two Bass Saxs that I remember. Now there are Digital Saxophones in many different forms which is very new and different for me.

One of the cheapest and most widely available is the Mini Digital Saxophones. However most digital saxophones are considered "Digital Wind Instruments". I was able to find one that appears to be the same as the one depicted on the Epic card I just purchased on Rising Star.

On Amazon, it is listed for $120 which appears to be very cheap compared to the full digital saxophones that run north of $1000 and most that I found would closer to $2000.

I played the brass instruments in band and never tried any of the wind instruments so am not very familiar with how easy or hard they are to play.

Unique Card Purchases

I try to add to my card collection on a periodic basis. Today I picked up 7 new unique cards for my collection including the E149 Digital Star Sax mentioned and shown above.

I use the Starbits I have earned to purchase new cards. Since a new month starts soon, I only used a fraction to get additional cards. I wanted to save most of my earnings so that I could purchase the new cards that will be issued in October.

I used the site https://rsgfam.com to purchase these unique cards. Check it out, it has helped save me a lot of time by identifying the exact cards that are missing from my collection.

My Ranking and Level

I finally ranked higher than 300 at 295. I still have a long way to go to be in the top 100 but this is a major milestone for me to be in the top 300.

My higher ranking is mainly due to the Weekly Minutes that I was able to run missions. I had 5380 weekly mission minutes which is the highest that I have had in a very long time. I do not think I will be able to keep my weekly minutes that high consistently going forward but I will most definitely give it a try.

Adding these additional unique cards should help keep my rank up as well or that is what I am hoping for.

Stats

I have a total of 1345 cards in my collection of which 508 are unique. My lowest stat is IM which only at 322. I need to see about adding cards which have IM so that I can increase that stat more but I believe that stat is only on people cards and lately I have been mostly adding instrument cards.

Total Missions Run

I have run a total of 5312 various missions. I will not receive another reward for total missions until I reach 6000 missions.

However I did notice that I only need 8 more missions to reach the next reward level for the Band Rehearsal mission. I have so far ran 492 of this mission. I double checked all the other missions just to see how close I was in getting a reward and none were very close at all so I will need to make sure I get the Band Rehearsal mission to 500 within the next week.
