Rising Star - Dolly Parton sings Purple Rain

Dolly Parton created a new album "RockStar" which contains a collaboration with many music artist. I have been listening to Dolly for many, many years as I am a big Country Music Fan. This new album takes Dolly's Country music years of experience and presents a new Rock/Country sound.

One of the songs on the album is Dolly singing one of the most popular songs "Purple Rain". The first time I listened to it I was not that pleased but when I listened to it over again, I think she paid tribute to the song in a very good way by adding her Country/Gospel sound. In it's own way, it will introduce the many, many fans of Dolly's to songs that they may have never been familiar with prior to this album becoming available.

Rising Star Game

The RisingStar game is on the Hive Blockchain. It is a card collection game that allows you to experience the struggles of becoming a musician. Rising from the lowly ranks of a busker to being the headliner of your own tour and everything in between.

Raves

Rising Star Raves is an interesting addition to the Rising Star Game. It adds a new dimension and keeps the game fresh for existing players and a new component that new players will enjoy exploring. I participate in it each time that I log in to Rising Star. I liking guessing which group will have the most Ravers and will win that Rave. There have been 144 Raves so far and I have participated in 67 of them.

The rewards are small but they add to my weekly earnings which I reinvest back into the game by purchasing additional playing cards.

Acquired New Unique Cards

As always, I try to purchase new unique cards with my earnings. This period I was able to earn slightly over 63k of Starbits

By combining it with the Starbits I had left over from last period, I have 70,902 Starbits to use to purchase new unique cards.

I was able to purchase 8 new cards with my earnings adding lots of Fans, Luck, Skill and IM to my stats. All of the cards that I purchased this week were rare people cards which with the additional skill will help lower my Ego % and help my earnings per mission.

I could purchase the lowest priced cards but have learned that purchasing additional unique cards helps my ranking better. If nothing else, it at least helps to maintain my ranking.

Progress and Ranking

By running missions on a daily basis, I was able to maintain my ranking. My rank is 262. Even though it fluctuates up and down from week to week. The overall trend is always in the right direction. I am hoping to continue my upwards trend and pass 250 in the coming weeks.

Getting closer and closer to the 250 ranking. I am hoping that the new unique cards I purchased today will help move me up some in the rankings to perhaps get to that 250 milestone I have set.

Achieved Level 142

Each week also gets me closer to achieving level 150. I am now at level 142 so only 8 more levels to be able to unlock the next mission which will allow me to add it to my mission rotation of available missions to run each week. I am hoping to get there sooner than later.

Rising Star Stats

My stats are improving each and every week however I still have this problem with Temporary Drunk fans impacting my Ego. My Ego percent is now at 15% which is way to high for my liking. The new unique cards should help it a little be as well.

My "Risky Whiskey" bottle is also full of drunk fans (over 2200 of them). When you attract temporary drunk fans with also each mission you run, it is very hard to keep them from impacting your ego percent. I am hoping the current ones wake up so that I can empty the bottle of the other 2,287 temporary drunk fans so that the next ones I attract will not have as big of am impact to my ego percent.
