Stardom Play - Ability and Ego Important to Watch

Ability and Ego work hand in hand. To much Ego and your earnings will decrease greatly. Ability is the only way to offset Ego.

Why Worry About This?

The Ratio of Ego to Ability are reflected in the "orange" percentage bar reflected on the top left of the Mission and Lesson Pages. My ratio is currently 86%.

The Earnings will decrease as the Ego/Ability Ratio decreases. The pile of coins icon shown on each of the missions is the amount of earnings that you will receive from running that specific mission. I try to keep my ratio above 85% so that I keep the earnings amount as high as possible.

On the other hand, you will gain Ego by running each mission so you must balance this with adding ability. As you can see, the ego about increases with the level of the mission. When running the missions that will earn you more, you will also gain more ego points.

Gain Ability Two Ways

There are two ways to gain ability:

1. Run Cinematography Lesson
2. Acquire Cards with Ability:
   • Purchase Packs
   • Purchase Individual Cards

By scrolling below the missions, you will be able to see your "Game Progress & Stats". The bottom line in this section will reflect your total Ability points. It also shows the two numbers that make up the total Ability.

The first number is the amount of Ability that you have received from the cards that are in your collection. The second number is the amount of Ability that you have earned from running the Cinematography Lesson.

Since my collection is mostly common cards, the first number is low so I must run the Lesson more often.

Run Cinematography Lesson

The Cinematography Lesson will provide between 9 to 18 Ability points. The Lesson uses 65 Energy and takes 45 minutes to complete. You must also have 200 Fans and reached level 10 in order to run this lesson. Currently I run this Lesson at least once per day to keep my Ego/Ability ratio close to my target of 85%.

Stats after Card Purchase

With the earnings that I received this week from running missions, I purchased additional cards to add to my Fans. I am working on reaching 750 Fans so that I can unlock the next mission.

I was able to purchase three cards - Two people and one equipment cards.

The people cards each added 10 Fans (20 Fans in total). They also added 15 Ability to my stats as well.

I purchased this specific equipment card because I did not have it in my collection. I would like to ensure I have a copy of each card in my collection. This card, EC 3 Mic Stick added 5 Capability to my stats.

I now have after these card purchases, 470 Fans of the needed 750 Fans to unlock the next mission. One thing to note is that I had withdrawn all of my Stardom Tokens to purchase cards, however it is showing I have 3 Stardom tokens. When you have referrals, you will earn 3 Stardom Tokens for each mission that your referral completes. Even though this is a small amount, it adds up and allows you to acquire additional items with your Stardom tokens.
