"Retired" Just like I planned it...

When I got fired 2 years ago after 10 years at a credit union I thought up all sorts of things to do and did many jobs just to get by while sorting out legalities. How would we keep the house? How much money do we have? Would we move to the old townhouse? What about this... What about that... All sorts of doomsday scenarios and options BUT...

I knew getting a normal job in my industry would be a tall task until settled and even then the likelyhood of coming out a felon was very high and would only darken chances.

So before I even went to court, made a plea or a sentence even came down I started my own business(es). I never wanted to work for anyone but myself again.

From digging ditches, to freelance IT work, selling art, to landscaping or roofing... I did whatever it took to make it work and turn this from a massive setback to a huge springboard.

Had I waited I don't t think we would be in our home anymore and thriving helping People .. And I certainly wouldn't be "retired" enjoying the morning on my front porch.

The point is...

♦️Your biggest setback might be your bigger springboard
