Wow, We Have Almost Reached September!
Sometimes it feels to me like the old saying "time flies" is pretty much an understatement!
It seems like summer started just a short while ago, and yet? In a couple of days it's going to be the month of September already! Today - August 30th - also happened to be my birthday, which traditionally has always marked the end of summer for me!
Perhaps not in the real and tangible sense, but at least as a bookmark in my mind that when my birthday moved around, it also meant that summer was about to end. That might just be a hangover from childhood and having to go back to school...
Sadly, I haven't felt very inspired in the creative department recently. In about a week from now, Mrs. Denmarkguy and I will be attending a large outdoor arts and crafts fair where we set up as vendors and I sell my painted stones and she sells her miniature furniture. We quite enjoy doing outdoor shows, but they're also a lot of work.
These days, we can't really afford to be picky about whether something is "a lot of work," we simply need to get up and go and do it because times are tough and our ability to participate in these events significantly impacts our ability to pay our bills and stay on top of our budgets for the month.
Creative inspiration is a funny thing. I just never know when it's going to be strong and good, and when it's not going to be much of anything.
Sometimes it feels a bit strange to say something like that, particularly considering that I've actually been an active blogger for about 25 years. Even so, when I look back across those 25 years, there have been quite a few gaps in there, some of them lasting several years, where I just didn't really feel like keeping on.
My current activity with my blog here on Hive is starting to approach 7 years and that actually makes it one of the writing projects I've been involved with (continuously) for the longest time!
I'm actually very grateful for this place in the sense that it has not only offered a great writing outlet, but also has taught me a whole lot about crypto that I didn't know before, and this opportunity to build a small savings account as a "thank you" for creating content online has been an excellent experience.
Hopefully my creative inspiration will return in the next few weeks and I can return to being a bit more active for the remainder of 2023.
In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great remainder of your week!

Again, happy birthday! I don’t know where the summer went. It just rained so much here it was really hard to get what I did done. Hope your day was nice.
Thank you! It was a really good, and relaxing, day!
Happy birthday! :)
I am glad Summer is over. The heat is not my thing. I cant wait for the cooler days, rain and smell of leaves.
I have never done heat very well, even though I lived in a hot southern climate for more than 20 years. It's still a bit of a mystery how I made it through that!
Good morning friend, it's amazing that you have 25 years as a blogger, I knew about this kind of work about 5 years ago when I met steemit.
I hope you get the inspiration you are looking for soon, you are good at what you do, go have a coffee, I'm sure you will get a nice story there.
Creativity is something that ebbs and flows... it's difficult to force it, although sometimes it is better to show up and "just DO something" than to sit around and just wait for it to come.
Being seven years on here is very interesting and it is a motivation for people like me to keep being here
Happy new month in advance
It has definitely been quite a journey! Sometimes it is difficult to "show up every day," but consistency is the key to building a long term following... as I am sure you will, too!
Happy Birthday, @denmarkguy. We are a day ahead of your time 🤗 Yes, BER months is in the offing and before you know it, it's Christmastime, again. How "time flies", indeed! Enjoy the rest if the day. All the best. God bless you more. ❣️🕊️
Thank you for your kind words and good wishes! Indeed, time does "fly!"
Oh mah darlin' ... you managed to "create" the best display ever. We so fancy now ...
But seriously.
Well done! Thank you for taking my "vision" and making it tangible.
You are welcome! It was a good thing a take a break from the usual and instead "problem solve" something very tangible like that. And yes, it will look great in the booth!
