Entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest #207 ~ Mirror Alley
I am having some kind of writers block recently, and this condition comes most likely because I am in mourning. I used to blog on Hive late at night while accompanying my sick father. Now that he's gone, writing my blog has become an activity that brings back my sorrow.
So today I will try to make a post again, this time an easy one and I hope could encourage other Hivians or Hivers who have writers block too. This post is an entry for Reflection Hunter contest. This is an event that really help people keeping their writing habits, because we know sometime we want to write but our brain doesn't allow it.
Mirror Alley
I know the picture is not perfect, I realize that I should get rid that fallen leaves or small tree, whatever you want to call it, on the right side. I am not in the right mind anyway, at least I think I manage to capture the concept.
I got this idea when I was at home in the last Sunday and a rain fell. If you recall my reflection hunters posts, I liked to take some shots on the streets, because most likely there were many puddles and from the right angle they can make a good refection, so its like you see some pieces of mirrors on the street.
Initially I came to this spot, because I thought I could take some trees or flowers from the puddle reflection. I tried from different position, different angle, and tried to get unexpected object, but all failed. The reason was simple, there were not enough puddles there, so liked it or not, I had to forfeit that idea.
I walked for some minutes to get another idea which poodles I should take the picture. I had to admit, that time was not a good one to get the right puddle. Maybe I got out home too late which made most poodles dried or got smaller. Thing might be different if I came out earlier exactly when the rain just finished.
By saying this... I sound like a puddle hunter rather than reflection hunter LoL
Luckily I remembered there was a clog on an alley ditch. People complained recently because it made water stuck there for hours. So I rushed there and there it was. I needed to wait that guy to cross that full width puddle, before I took the shot.
Again, I should clean up the leaves on the right side, definitely it would make the picture better. So what do you think? it is true or maybe you think leaving the leaves there is a correct one because I do not change or fabricated what is actually there.
And that's all folk...
Thank you for stopping by and reading my entry for #reflections hunter contest here. I play #splinterlands games a lot too, you can check my post about that amazing game too. And I hang a lot in #PIMP discord, you can find me there.
Anyway Feel free to leave any comment below.
