Hello Rising Star Gamers

Welcome back again to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game. This week we have TIMBALAND as our weekly theme. This is a bit different than we have done before because Timbaland is a singer-music producer, not a singer. So some of the song might not have him as the singer and today we are having the last day of his music.

BREAK UP SONG

Most people believed this song was about Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Later in 2011 Justin Timberlake admitted that he wrote that song after a strong argument in phone call which made him very angry. He spoke to Timbaland in the studio and then an Idea to make it as a song popped out.

Cry me a river means that some one is bored or irritated by other person crying or grumbling. The song was about Justin who was tired about Spears that was at that time rumored to have had an affair with their friend, Wade Robson. People believed that the cause of their failing relationship.

After this album released, Timberlake and Spears decided to split. Britney Spears later responeded this song with her single, EVERYTIME, in 2003.

THE PRODUCERS DISPUTE

Cry Me a River was written by Justin Timberlake and Scott Storch. Timbaland was the chosen producer because Scott Storch believed the song meaning and theme made it more suitable to work with him. At that time Scott Storch was a hit maker, he made several new artists got the top such as Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Sean Paul and many more.

Later Scott accused Timbaland stole the credit from Danja, who was the real producer of the song. Then Timbaland responded by making Give it to Me song which inside he made a jab to Scott by saying:

I’m a real producer, and you just a piano man/Your songs don’t top the charts, I heard em’, I’m not a fan/Niggas talking greasy, but I’m the one that gave them their chance…

Scott replied with his song Built Like this, and the lyric addressed Timbaland:

you ain't gangsta

The replies did not stop on that, they still jabbing each other using their song. However Scott started to lose some popularity in the industry from that point.
