A little bit spooky

You will know why I named this post today as spooky, although I was expecting to find some insects, sometimes the way they blend into the environment gave me a little surprise. Also, it got spooky a little bit since I was in quite a dense undergrowth. haha

I explore a little bit deeper in the shade of the small woody area next to my workplace. I have explored the outer part a few times, but not go in because I am afraid of snakes. But not sure how, I just went in a little bit, my first intention was to get some mushroom shots which was a failure.

when I headed back, I notice this small thin red color insect on top of a small plant, which was quite tame when I tried to get close to it and tried to get a few photos.

it was quite a success because I managed to get a few good shots of this bug, which is still very young in a nymph phase. I tried to look up to Google, and it might be the nymph of a bug from Tessaratomidae family

Then it tried to moved to the lower part of the plant, and of course I was trying to follow the movement of the bug because I wanted to get more photos.

Then surprise, surprise!!!!

My heart was beating a little bit faster when I noticed these bigger bugs were also around, and I somehow missed it on the first look. Lucky I wasn't screaming, and also it is just a bug, but not a snake, which might be dangerous, and there will be a chance I would be forcing my week legs to run a little faster. hahaha

But yeah, it was such an experience, which force me to notice my environment a little better next time.
Actually there are more bug of these size, behind these to bug here on the focus there were still a lot of them in the background, but a little bit harder to photograph.

The second bigger bug must've been on stealth mode lol. Sometimes, it takes a little bit of shifting focus to discover overlooked aspects of our environment. Amazingly clear shots as always :)
