Jumping Spider on a bamboo leaf- Monomad challenge
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
I think this is the first time I have managed to capture a creature on a bamboo leaf, mostly because I hardly hunt for macro photos near the bamboo forest or bamboo plantation. This one was accidental, the owner of the land next to my workplace (the owner of the golf course) decided to plant some bamboo trees, the reason is to block the view over the golf course, you know who would let their property be used for promotional without getting any payment isn't it? so it is better to plant something to block the view, so no more discussion is needed, at least that is what I heard from one of the middle management.
I think that is the back story of the plant, now let's focus on the jumping spider that I managed to capture. My first idea was that there is not much happening on the bamboo tree or the bamboo leaf, because they tend to be quiet, at least from my previous observation.
But that day I think I was lucky since I saw the jumping spider, jump from the plant beside the bamboo, into the bamboo leaf. I checked on the leaf closely, tried to find this little guy, and then tried photographing it.
I think I also annoyed it a little bit, just like most of the jumping spiders, it will try to jump into my flash diffuser when it feels annoyed, but still not so scared. Otherwise, it will jump away from me, and then leave. That is the reason also I get a few shots of its beautiful eyes.
