Monolepta bifasciata- Monomad challenge

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes

I think I was either lucky to find this little beetle on the tip of a leaf before it flew away, or it was me the one who forced this little guy to flee the scene and leave behind its resting place in the shade of the shadow from the other tree on that scorching heat of the sun.

Yes, that day was so hot, and I was already a little bit skeptical that I was gonna be able to find any insect during that photo hunt. But it was the only time I had with me to do the photo hunt, so I was just trying to make the best out of the situation.

And this little insect was kind enough to let me took some photos before it went away. Just like I said, either I was on the perfect timing before it flew away, or it was me who caused it to flee.

This little insect is most likely the Monolepta bifasciata of the Monolepta Genus, but unfortunately there was not many info about this species, other that it is one of the pest for some plantation.

It was a very small bug or beetle, with a long segmented antenna, I think the length of the antenna is almost as long as the body of this bug. It has black and yellow coloration on its body with a black-colored head, yellow thorax, and stripes of black and yellow on the abdomen and also on its wings.

Was this beetle kind enough to let you take a photo of it before leaving or before you scare it away? 😅 Anyway... You got very good shots there, perfect for black and white, too.

Have a great start of the week @ekavieka friend! Keep up the awesome work 💪🏻📸🐞
