Naughty Robber fly

Well, I have this naughty robber fly because at one moment in the same photo hunt, I found it alone, but the next minutes it was already doing some reproductive work.

I must say that it is kind of hard to get a shot of the robberfly, although its size is quite big, they are a very fast insect, and they can fly quite fast and far. they also don't perch in one place too long. I have to approach this predatory fly very carefully.

I was quite lucky when I found it alone because I could get a few shots of this guy. but the problem it was perching on a very difficult branch, and I could not move my camera easily to get more photos from different angles. When I did tried to move, my movement disturbed it, and then it flew away, unfortunately.

But then after a few minutes when I was about to end the photo hunt and return to my original entry to the shrubs, I found a mating robberfly. so I guess it might be the previous robber fly that I managed to photograph. after I scared him out, it found the beautiful female robber fly to mate. What a naughty robber fly isn't it?

Thank you so much my friend, yes the shots like this is kind of a lucky one I think, since how difficult it can be to approach the insect.
