Phone Photography Contest 21 - Simple Dinner

avatar

Finally, I made another entry for the contest after a few week's hiatus, as I don't have many photos to share. : (

If you want to join and make an entry to this fun contest, kindly read and follow the rules and the guidelines in @untilwelearn's Phonography / Phone Photography Contest - 21 Announcement post

This first photo of my simple dinner is my entry for the contest. This is a fried noodle that I buy in my usual place. I am not really a fan of fancy places to eat, and one reason is the price. Can you guess how much I paid for that fried noodle?

It cost me Idr. 15.000 which is less than $1, and it is still a good price. How much will it cost you to buy similar food in your place? will it cost more, or will it cost less?

The other thing that I like about this place is that the seller is not the typical street food seller, which is usually associated with mess, and a little bit dirty. The seller seems to really are about the cleanliness and also the tidiness of the place, which makes me want to eat regularly there.

And the best part is that the food they cook is really tasty, never once I leave the plate with any food left. I just clean the whole thing, so that my belly is full, and the seller doesn't need to find a dustbin to throw any leftovers. ahaha

In my side, it will definitely cost far much more than that.
Nice photos from you friend. You decided to visit an eatery for today's photos, they are amazing.
I love the plates design, looking like leaves.
Thanks for sharing with everyone.

Love the design of the plate! At first, I thought it was just leaves crafted together into the shape of a plate.

I also generally like to eat at slightly average places mainly because their food tastes original like home also they are pocket-friendly. ;) Btw, leaving food on the plate is considered disrespectful for food, so it is good that you enjoy and finish it completely.

the closest we have near us is a Thai noodle bar in the local market and a dish similar to that would be about £10 which is about IDR200,000 at today's exchange rate - yet for us is still a very reasonable price
