Polytela chrysospila

I was a bad guy (most of them time I am) when I saw this moth that day resting on the leaf of one of the plants in the villa. This little cutie was resting, maybe preserving its power so that it could be full of power to go around and find food when the night comes, but since I found it, then the story changed a little bit.

I was equipped with my camera, tried really hard to get a good photos of this moth, since it resting in the higher part of the plant so that I should reach out my arm to be able to take the photos, and thus the result was not what I expected, also the other leaf of the plan was covering the direction of my fash so that this little moth was not illuminated in the way I wanted it to be.

I had to push aside the leaf that got in the way, as well as bending the branch where this little moth was resting. I felt a little numbness trying to hold my camera a little bit above my head. haha

But then in the end I had to pluck the leaf so that I could have a much more comfortable way to photograph this little moth. which was lucky since it seemed it was deeply in its sleep.

This moth is the Polytela chrysospila which was described by Walker in 1865, but unfortunately, I could not get a lot of info about this moth online.

It finally woke up and then started to spread its wing, before then it flew away from me. These two are the last shots of this moth, as you can see the background on these shots changed.
