I think any effort to bring new users into the Hive ecosystem is worthwhile. Referral programs like the ones mentioned in the video are a great idea, but in any affiliate program if there isn't something to retain users, they end up leaving. And Hive, unfortunately, scares people away. I've invited several people myself, some of whom stayed for a while and most of whom didn't make it past the introductory post. Like everything else that works well at the moment, it's the short model (short videos, threads, etc.). I think the problem is that Hive wants posts of at least 500 words as standard, which scares a lot of people.

I believe that until a project comes along that simplifies these things, Hive won't increase its number of users significantly. An example of this was Inleo, which ran several campaigns and even made a proposal to solicit funds from the community, but in the end it wasn't very successful.

Hive has all the tools for this, but the only thing we don't have is a mobile app that works in a simple way, where the user can post instantly, like on WEB2.

As long as there are no mobile apps that are similar to web2 (easy to use). We already have frontends like Liketu and Inleo (Thread), which are very similar to web2, but the app is missing. If we had tools like this, then an affiliate program would work well and could be successful.
