Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 159
This is my entry to the #SMaP Show Me a Photo of a Bird Contest - the theme being 'Alone' - Round 159.
We placed some bird food on a particular park bench and the wooden fence behind it. It wasn't long before the birds came down to eat the food, starting with the wood pigeon, who peeped through the hedge to see if it was safe.
It's always good to see a little robin redbreast. This one wasn't too aggressive with the other birds and seemed to be more interested in us than anything else.
Then a blackbird and a chaffinch came down for the suet pellets. They were obviously used to people being in the area as they didn't seem to be too scared of our presence.
Thank you to @nelinoeva, @melinda010100, @barbara-orenya, @sagarkothari88 and all of the Feathered Friends team for the contest.
They are all so beautiful 😍 Common birds but wonderfully captured 😉

Great photos! 👍Especially the first one turned out to be very impressive. Wood pigeon in a frame of leaves😊

Thank you @sirenahippie. 🙏
Wow! Very nice photos of these birds! They have such strong personalities.
They were very patient. 🙂
What I thought of a curious look must be more likely a cautious look. 🙂
Brilliant shot of the wood pigeon and all the other birds.
Thank you. Yes, s/he was a scaredy cat.
