Following the success of New Edition in the late 1989s and early 1990s, record labels focused on creating boy bands. The genie was out of the bottle, and it was clear that the winning formula revolving around dances and charismatic youth was the path to riches. The band was formed in the early 1990s and their success has been ongoing for over 3 decades worldwide.

The Backstreet Boys formed up in 1993 and began performing in Florida. The group went on to release the album "Backstreet Boys" in 1996 and became commerically successful in the decades following. The band has sold over 100 million records and inspired many other successful boy bands internationally including NSYNC and many KPop bands including BTS. Their international appeal and extensive worldwide tours helped pollinate boy bands in many other cultures, and their commerical success helped to provide funding for more diverse musicians as well.

The Backstreet Boys were all over the Pop Charts and Pop Radio through the middle of the 1990s to the mid-2000s. Their prolific hit releases helped cement their place in history, and artists from the band including Nick Carter began solo careers. Some of their most notable and memorable songs include "As Long as You Love Me", "Backstreet's Back" and "Drowning". The band has continued to your and has released several records in the past few years including "This is Us" in 2009. The band released a number of holiday albums and greatest hits albums as well, and their harmonization skills have been present since their inception.

The band's style has changed over the years with the times. The harmony and vocalizations over electronic tracks has become more Hip Hop over time. The group is lyrically talented and versatile with engaging songs. I was never a hardcore Backstreet Boys fan, but I appreciate their music and it is extremely nostalgic for me to listen to.

My Risingstar Report 3/13/2024:

As time goes by, my interest in passive income on the Hive blockchain increases. If you want purely passive income, you can stake STARBIT on record NFTs through record staking. It's easy to do and if your record isn't performing to your liking you can unstake your STARBIT.

So far, I have been enjoying the passive and active aspects of Risingstar. The game keeps my attention and I have been making music mission faucet claims and music lesson powerups. It's a matter of cadence, and mine is two claims from missions and one music lesson. I have learned to time my claims so I don't lose track and keep earning more Starbits daily.

I need to try raves in the game, and keep looking at this option. Let me know if you participate in raves on Risingstar. I will also be purchasing some more NFT cards in the game.

Have a great day and game on 🎮😎🌟
