Progressive America: A Culture of Narcissism, Nihilism, and Navel-Gazing

Honestly, I think it's funny to me when people say that Americans have no culture. Given America's affinity for individualism, and racial and cultural diversity in various regions throughout the United States, It's laughable to say Americans have no culture. I mean, most Americans know about Southern Hospitality; Isn't that an example of a regional tradition?

Now, let's entertain the silly idea real quick, but focus it on a particular type of American: Progressive (mostly white) Americans. If anyone doesn't have a recognizable culture it would be a good chunk of the politically progressive American community. These are the people that reject the nuclear family, the ones that oppose Judeo-Christian traditionalism, the kind of people that get upset over the very idea of Thanksgiving and Christmas. They reject all the foundations of what it means to be 'American.' If we break it down by region, or states, they also reject Yankee culture, Floridian culture, Southern Culture, and Californian culture (ironic, isn't it?) To add the the irony, these people who have no culture tell other Americans that American culture doesn't exist. Isn't that funny?

Now, here's my message to the progressive American left.

You have no culture. Now, if you do have a culture, a progressive white american's culture is drug addiction, psychological delusions, insufferable cultural contrarianism, and suicide.

That is the only thing recognizable regarding their "culture". It's a simplistic observation of the values they hold, cherish and promote. They're the kind of people who destroy traditions, conservative values, and long standing cultures.
