The account joins my weekly contests and spends HBD to do so. I doubt a spam account would be using funds to interact and socialize with other Hive accounts. A spam account would be keeping it no? You got this one wrong! They admitted there wrong doing and should be given a chance. I also see this account is not excepting rewards for many posts and I’ve seen them reply to you and sound very fair. I will continue to support them. If they ever post anything without additional content I won’t. But nuking all this guys comments and everything is just overboard.

That account has spammed over 230 posts with YT videos. ~$2 per post.
Rewards were neither burned nor declined.
The hive ecosystem is not a bucket to dump copypasta and milk rewards.
I will not change the scope of abuse and include that as a precedent so everyone can just start dumping copypasta under the excuse of creating a "library".
You want to dump content, burn or decline rewards. It is that simple.
You will keep losing your curation rewards letting your buddy milk the shared rewards pool.

I'm sorry. Eventually, you will. Sooner or later the fact that Hive could have had millions of active users by now, as the influx that arose in 2017 flourished and drew in more, will come fully into the understanding of the majority of stakeholders that aren't profiting from concentrating governance as much as they would from capital gains from Hive growing to millions of users. Either that, or Hive will die, because they killed it - using you to do it.
But, you'll change, or you'll wish you could when it's too late, and you can't anymore, which will be even worse for you.
So, I'm sorry. The critical ability of intelligence is to correct misunderstanding when folks find out they're wrong. It's much better for you to be able to adapt when you find out you were wrong, even though it's not always easy to do. Not being able to change when you're provably wrong, when you're dragging your world down around you, trying to wrap yourself in what you thought were superable values, that's much, much worse.
Hive's library of content and it's userbase are it's only marketing department, and in summer 2017 it ballooned by ~1M users. It's about the content and the community. Social media. People sharing information they find useful, important, or entertaining.
You chased them all away. Now we have, what, ~4 or 5k users on Hive? That's what you wanted to achieve with your life? Destroying Hive is the legacy you wanted to leave behind, to destroy the option to have free speech your kids, or your loved ones could have had, if only you hadn't ruined it?
You don't have to leave it like that. You can, I hope, learn from your mistakes, and use your experience to turbo charge your ability to fix what's broken. I'm willing to discuss growing Hive, free speech, and what spam, scams, and plagiarism are and how best to counter them anytime. On chain. I'm done with surveillance apps and tracking devices, so I don't use Discord, Fakebook, or the like anymore. Honest men can talk here. If I'm wrong I can admit it here. I can be open about it. I LIKE being corrected when I'm wrong. If I don't get criticized and proved wrong so I can change my mind and become right, I'll STAY wrong forever, and I don't want to be wrong at all, much less forever.
So, if you can convince me you're doing the right thing, I'll say so, and I'll permanently change what I post, what I say, and what I do, as a result. I hope you can do that too, that you have the power it takes to become right when you're wrong, because being wrong happens to all of us. We have to learn, and we learn from our mistakes. I hope you do that before you can't, before it becomes too late, and all you can do is gasp your last tortured breaths trying to live wracked with regret. We need to embrace fear because it keeps us alert to danger, to embrace shame because it motivates us to act morally, ethically, right, and properly.
If we don't we only increase our fear and shame by continuing to cause it with our mistaken acts. I don't wish that on you. I sure don't wish it on Hive, either.
I want us to prosper in joy, happiness, and peace of mind. If you ever want help getting some of that, you have only to ask me and I'll try to help if I can.
Yuri's all about it. He's posting geopolitical analysis that would otherwise only be available on Youtool, where we don't want people going to get that information. We want people coming to Hive to get that information. Eventually, we wan't people to abandon Youtool and slimy parasitic Web2 platforms and come to Hive, because it pays better to post on Hive. Downvoting people doesn't make Hive pay better than Youtool. It's not how to grow Hive.
Ya'll should get along, not fight. We're here on Hive because Hive is what we want to become the social media convention going forward, to replace Web2 and change the world for the better. Take that DHF funding and spend it talking to people to convince them to change their minds. Driving them off the platform isn't what you want to do. We all make mistakes. Let folks fix them and grow Hive better by it. Dragging people through humiliation rituals on Discord isn't the way to do that, and you know that by now. You're just doing it for the money.
Doesn't that get old after a while? Time to change how you do things so you can do them better. After all, that's what Hive is, a change for the better.
