Hello @achim03 , congratulations, I saw you at the top of the hive tags, I think that the femonemo that occurs in Venezuela is due to several factors.
the possibility of gaining some customers, we could think that all stores in the world have this incentive and it is like that but in Venezuela you can skip the cons, such as taxes and payment to an accountant who discriminates cryptocurrency payments so that everything is " legal"
The constant search for a currency that is not devalued daily, in a country that does not have problems with its currency implies additional work to obtain HBD (make the purchase transaction) additional work that does not make much sense because unlike Venezuela and Other underdeveloped countries know that having 100 dollars, 100 pounds, 100 euros, etc. will have a small variation but they will be able to buy the same thing now or in 2 weeks so they have to do the additional work of changing them to HBD and then pay with them with the same purchase value as your coins?
Growing communities, in Latin America hive can be an important source and perhaps in many cases even a main source of income, commenting that in a month you could earn $200 working in hive instead of earning $100 in a regular job is an incentive giant for that community to grow but that cannot be duplicated in the developed world.
I think that although it is a good marketing idea, it is not scalable, you cannot maintain a cycle that someone buys a public pizza and earns to buy another pizza, if it is about selling that we reach the ones we talked about in a post previous many will be disappointed because they will not get the votes to continue consuming HBD in establishments and will leave, I believe that the search for adoption should focus on what makes most cryptocurrencies unique and that is how “decentralized” by a court order a bank centralized would have to stop all your funds, having HBD they cannot block them, additionally you have the possibility of providing services or products worldwide receiving payments without fees or intermediaries, with this I do not mean that what happens in Venezuela is not useful is It will surely be useful in several other countries, but not in most.
Changing the subject, I wanted to ask you , are you ready for the release of LAND? I have some lands but I was looking to change because I don't have the ones that give me the greatest bonus (with the cards that I will put to work) suddenly we could change some, of course of the same rarity I only have commons hehehe.
Greetings
Thanks a lot for your great comment. I also think that it's not that easy to reproduce the phenomen in Venezuela in developed countries... for the moment. Because even here, inflation is beginning to be a real problem.
Hive offers a real store of value for people in inflation plagued countries because as you say, your purchasing power will be more or less the same with this money. Also I agree that making peer to peer direct decentralized transactions allows to go around a lot of problems for people in countries where the government isn't really your friend...
For land, I have only 4 plots and I have honestly not looked too much into it. I'm waiting for several years now and I will get into when it's finally out :-)
hehehe, let's hope that it comes out this end of the month, we are all a little disappointed with so many delays
