What are the benefits of delegating your HIVE token?
Hello all you crazy HIVE fans out there!
Today I want to briefly say something about passive ways to earn money in #Hive.
First you need to power up your HIVE token. Therefore you get HP (HIVE power) in your wallet. If you leave your HP in your wallet you will get paid about 3% per year. That's pretty nice but there is another way to earn.
The easiest and possibly the best way is to delegate your HP to be rewarded with votes or tokens.
The whole thing is quite simple: You pick a project or person you wanna support, in my example it is @wrestorgonline.
I used 50 HP to delegate to them.
What does the project gain from getting HP delegated?
The voting power increases accordingly and they can better reward our community contributions.
What do I get out of it?
You get on one side $WOO token, which you can use in the game and on the other side HP, which slowly increases your voting power. So you get more than if you just leave your HIVE lying around I would say.
Of course you can cancel the delegation of your HP when you need it for other things. So there is no risk to loose it!

I know what you mean. For mit it worked to delegate another choosen amount to the same account. It stacked then. Dont know if this will alsways work that way.
